Grotthuss Boutique Hotel Vilnius

Beautiful spacious room and bathroom in the new part of the hotel. Lovely breakfast each morning with a great variety of fresh food on the buffet.

The room was huge. The bathroom was spectacular - with a stand alone bath tub and a separate shower. Breakfast was lovely: they have limited selection but very fresh products. I recommend the fresh apple pie and the forest fruit tea. The hotel is a few minutes distance from the main pedestrian area where all the main restaurants are located. There is even a restaurant just adjacent to the hotel, (walking out, on the left) where i dined the first evening: very lovely food! Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. I would return.

That's a very good hotel if you want to stay in the old town. 1. Area is safe, quiet and nice with many stores and restaurants around. City center is very close, train station is also not far. 2. Hotel is pretty old, but the quality is very good. I enjoy staying in old hotels which have some history, especially when it's a history of some family, so I enjoyed the vibe and the look of the hotel. Some snacks near the reception and in the room were nice touch as well. Staff was very nice. 3. Our room was simple but comfy, so we liked everything. Very clean and enough space.

I arrived in Vilnius still tired from a difficult trip out of Ukraine. I had torn a knee ligament and was having some difficulty. My room was nice but on the second floor with no elevator. The receptionist not only carried my luggage up to my room, but offered to relocate me to the ground floor as soon as a room became available. She apologized that it was not immediately possible as the hotel was entirely booked. I had not asked for any special treatment, but it was volunteered and graciously so. The next day they helped me move to a ground floor room which was a substantial upgrade at the same time. I was impressed by the quality of service, though I would have preferred not to damage my knee. Both rooms were spotless and well appointed. The breakfast was first rate and in warm weather there was the option to take it in the enclosed courtyard. The courtyard was also a pleasant place to rest in the afternoon, and well suited for writing which is something I do several hours each day. The location is excellent relative to the old town. Half a block away is a French bakery that serves espresso to accompany your croissant.

The hotel and room were really nice and elegant. The hotel itself was located in a good area, next to an amazing restaurant called Gloria. Eat there, you won’t regret it. It was easy to walk around the city from there, which I liked. It was also easy to get a ride to the airport upon my departure. The front desk staff was friendly and responded to messages promptly.
